Alumni Spotlight: TANAYA

From volunteering to building a career of service, Tanaya continues to make moves! 💙💛

A 2025 graduate of McClure Health Science High School, Tanaya began volunteering with CMI alongside her grandfather and CMI Board Member, Joel Jordan, in 2021. Since then, she has contributed countless hours serving organizations including SWEEAC, Streetwise, and Fully Furnished.

🎓 Now a sophomore at Augusta State University, Tanaya is majoring in Respiratory Therapy with aspirations of becoming a Respiratory Therapist or Forensic Epidemiologist.

And she’s not waiting until graduation to make an impact! She also works as an Assistant Director of Law Programs at Leader Initiatives and a Patient Transporter at Piedmont Augusta.
